Product Description
These beautiful vocals and guitar were recorded in a temple in the dead of night using 108 candles and a single backlight. The ancient Sanskrit mantra Om Namah Shivaya works equally well as a piece of music to relax to and as a way to glide into meditation bringing peace to the head and intelligence to the heart. The Sound track to this video is available from iTunes with vastly improved sound quality
Simon was in Melbourne for this recording, on a lightning visit from India where he now lives. In a brief 24 hour period he and Leo made this recording and also had the inspiration to meet up in India and record the much loved album – Sri Guru Gita in Ganeshpuri
Om Namah Shivaya means I bow to the Self
The album cover is available as a Tshirt
The design is by Kim Lynch. Here’s what he says about it
Here’s one for all you Shaivites and Yoga fans. Especially useful for those occasions where eyebrows would rise if you were to front up with three big streaks of ash across your forehead punctuated by a large red THIRD EYE. If you look closely you will see that the art is made up of thousands of OM’s
