Carry - Dog Song – Rily’s Dreaming – Against the Pale Moonlight
In October 2011 Leo travelled to Ganeshpuri, India to meet up with Simon. With a loaded bag full of recording and video gear, they were guided by their old friend intuition. For a week they made music and videos in the heart of town. Ending up with 4 songs of love and beauty that capture the stillness of that great place. Four songs with Simon’s delicate and sweet voice accompanied by guitar and Leo on harmonium on 2 tracks. Along the way they recorded cicadas, all sorts of birds, one of the local bats, people going about their lives in town and a lot of peace from the surrounding countryside.
Ganeshpuri, where they made the recording is a really small village in Maharastra, india that’s way off the tourist track. Its a place of power and shakti and love.
